This morning after I dropped my daughter off at school I had a bit of time to kill before my first appointment and was fortunate to catch the end of a radio interview with Carlos Santana here in San Francisco. He was great and very inspirational as he spoke about having goals and asking the universe to help. He spoke about knowing what you want and going for it, no matter who thinks you are crazy. He spoke about having a vision for your success. He said, “Confidence comes from spirt, arrogance comes from the ego, and ego always leads to failure.” I just sat there and thought, wow how true. I knew he was one of the great guitar players, but I had no idea how profoundly philosophical he is. Thank you, Carlos Santana, for some major morning motivation!
